The newer SPORTident AIR+ system enables contactless timing. It is especially well-suited for sprint orienteering. Time and control number are recorded to the athlete's SPORTident card (SIAC) as he or she passes the station. It is not necessary to bring card and station into direct contact. The SIAC gets out of the way while the athlete concentrate on what matters most. SIACs are the next step in the evolution of orienteering, removing the need to slow down at controls, checkpoints or at the finish.
It's fast. It's contactless. It's amazing.
SPORTident AIR+ (Contact free) electronic punching system will be employed in all stages of Y2Y Park Orienteering Tournament starting from 2018. Participants may purchase it with discounted price $550 (Original price: $700) or rent SIAC ($30 per stage) from Y2Y, or use own SIAC or traditional SI cards for the race. It is optional for participants to use SIAC in any stages, yet participants can only punch SI units in traditional way. Contact free function is not available to traditional SI Card users.
Livelox is an analysis tool for orienteering. The idea is that it should be easy to visualize GPS-track and route choices on a map. It is fun to see how you have run out in the races but we are a little too lazy these days to scan in maps or download and upload files. With Livelox, the administrative part is automated for you so you can concentrate on analyzing your route, both for training and competition.
During year 2020, it is free to use Livelox to compare multiple routes in NVii Y2Y Park Orienteering Tournament! Oragnizers will upload map and courses immediately after the end of each stage, and runners may upload their GPS route recorded by GPS watch or logger to Livelox via the link in stage details.
Participants can register by the following ways,
1. Register through the online registration system. (After a successful online payment, you will receive a confirmation email. That means your entry is successful.)
2. Online group registration and pay by cheque. Available for 5 competitors or more only. Discount available for 20 entries or more at once. Please contact us via email to acquire Excel entry form and discount details.
Under this difficult situation, Y2Y sincerely thank you for your trust, and we promise to provide more flexible options so that you can participate in our events as you like.
[Redeem entry fee voucher]
